This filter is designed to fit an 8mm teflon Argon supply tubing.
The filter is preassembled and has lightly screwed on swagelock fittings on both sides. There is a specific Input side and Output side. Be sure to properly identify the direction of the gas flow. The side of the filter contains an arrow, indicating the direction of the flow of the gas. See image below:
1. Remove the compression nuts, taking care not to lose the set of ferrules in each nut. These are required for a leak proof setup. Set the aside for now.
2. Cut the Argon supply line approximately 6 inches from where it enters the ICP.
3. Connect the Argon supply side to the Input fitting**
4. Connect the tubing attached to the ICP to the filter's output**
**Make sure to install both the front and rear ferrules after placing the ompression nut on the tubing. See image below:
Take care not to over-tighten the inlet and outlet compression fittings.
5. Test the connections by turning on the Argon tank's regulator and applying pressure to the filter. Make sure there are no leaks.
