6/15/2016 – At what concentration should this buffer be used in test samples on an axial ICP-OES?
Response From Texas Scientific Products: From my personal experience running ICP's in the lab, it should be at least 8,000-10,000ppm in the solution. The optimum concentration of Cs buffer to minimize the Easy to Ionize Elements effect (EIE) will depend on the particular ICP model and the tubing size used (if added in-line with an Internal Standard) but the above range is a good rule of thumb.
