3/19/2021 – How much liquid volume does the humidifier hold? I'm assuming the gas comes in through the bottom of the inner chamber and . . .
Response From Texas Scientific Products:
Thank you your interest in our products. The inner chamber of the humidifier has a volume of about 100mL. When it is filled the water goes under the fritted disk and it can hold more than 100mL, although for use on an ICP it should be filled to half full.
The port with the red cap is for filling the humidifier with water. The gas inlet is the port in middle (connected to the inner chamber). The gas outlet is the port on the outer shell.
The Argon Humidifier works great for ICP applications containing high salt and high dissolved solids. Call us at 888-268-6037 and let us know about your application! We look forward to helping you! -- the TSP Team
