All 5 components required to make the Mehlich III extraction solution are included, premixed in the correct ratios in the kit:
- Acetic acid (CH3COOH)
- Ammonium nitrate (NH4NO3)
- Nitric acid (HNO3)
- Ammonium fluoride (NH4F)
- Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid (EDTA)
Due to the components being pre-mixed, and the tight control of the pH level, time spent mixing the solution to achieve homogeneity is DRASTICALLY reduced!
