Nebulizers (Shop for Nebulizers)

MicroLiter Nebulizer

The MicroLiter (patent pending) is an ultra-efficient sample nebulizer.  It fills a need for a high-performance nebulizer delivering samples in flow ranges of 200-3000 microliter/minute. The MicroLiter, combines a "deflected aerosol geometry" with a durable Babington type design and can handle samples containing high dissolved solids with greatly reduced susceptibility to clogging regardless of the flow rate.  Users report that the MicroLiter outperforms other nebulizers using more traditional 1-4 milliliter/minute sample flow rates. Suggested spray chambers depend on the flow rate.  Below 600 microliter/min the M/G/S single pass cyclonic spray chamber should be used.  Greater than 600 microliter/min flow rates the M/G/D dual pass spray chamber should be used. Alternatively, a standard Scott Double Pass spray chamber could be used for the higher flow rates.

  •  Virtually free from clogging caused by high dissolved solids.

  •  Variable flow rates on same nebulizer

  •  Enhanced sensitivity (typical factor of 1.5 to 3X)

  •  Relative Standards Deviation (RSD) significantly less than 1%

  •  Manufacturing consistency from nebulizer to nebulizer

Excentric Nebulizer

The Excentric nebulizer is uniquely designed to be low in cost yet amazingly robust when it comes to difficult samples.  Ultra-high total dissolved solids are now a real possibility.  In the event that the Excentric somehow gets clogged, it is very simple to clear the sample delivery path.  The Excentric can be used in place of traditional cross-flow nebulizers.  It is interchangeable with concentric type nebulizer and their associated spray chambers.  Bottom line:  low cost, low risk, high flexibility!
